time is flying by...

HI! This past weekend was pretty chill. I really enjoyed laying low. Got a little work done and rung in a 21st. It was Kat's birthday so we went to Consordium, a night club, on saturday night. On sunday we enjoyed a very late breakfast at a little quaint place called Bistro One. It was adorable, sort of reminded me of something in Italy. They had a nice jazz band that accompanied our whole meal. I've found my new place for the best coffee yet. I know I seem to bring this up probably every blog, but you just don't understand how amazing it truly is. Breakfast and coffee came and went, but we didn't. We chatted for about three hours, it was nice. After, we headed to the beach before the rain came. It always looks so neat to watch the rain pour in over these enormous mountains. At that time, it was around five and we were pushing it for Kat's birthday dinner at the Tav, which was at six. We came back, got ready and took a cab to dinner with some other mates. There was about fifteen of us there enjoying the relaxing sunday evening. It was quite nice. Our whole table indulged in some strawberry cheesecake (which tastes like strawberry moose, not actual chessecake) that I bought Kat for her birthday from a store in town. It was delicious and everyone seemed to enjoy! Moral of the story, she had a wonderful birthday over the weekend. Besides those festivities, there's not too much going on at the moment. I've slowly been recruiting girls for spin classes which is awesome! Tonight was intense as always, love the instructor! I'm keeping up with that class and continuing to go to the gym five days a week. Tomorrow, Kat & I are trying out a body pump class which should be great for toning purposes. I'll let y'all know how it goes!
On another note, Karen and I DID finalize our New Zealand spring break trip though which I'm sooo excited for! We're leaving the 8th and our bus trip starts the 9th, early a.m. It's pretty sweet how they do it, we'll get to see both north and south island! All over the place. We'll just be taking a bus and doing many, many things! Including a Lord of the Rings tour, whale watching and glacier hiking!
Tomorrow, all I have is class at 1p.m. So, I think I'm going to go into town to check things out and run a few errands. I'm also in the midst of choosing classes for my SENIOR year back home, how mind boggling it is that I'm almost done with college... what happened?! My god. I pick my classes on Wednesday. Karen & I are taking weight training class together, how weird she goes to umd too & I had no idea til I got to aussie. I have to get some reading done now though, I miss you home and friends and family!
